Jerell Ordonio is a licensed massage therapist and level II attuned Reiki practitioner graduating from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2019 with plans to begin acupuncture school in 2020. I am a San Diego native who joined the military in 2010 and served 4 years in the United States Navy working as a Master-at-Arms. I provided waterborne security to military assets along US government and NATO piers, while also escorting naval vessels in and out of military jurisdiction zones. After leaving the armed forces in 2014, I pursued a career in the medical field by studying to become a Nurse. But after experiencing a car accident, I was sent to receive massage for treatment and that’s what lead me to a career change in massage therapy and Asian bodywork. Growing up with a family made up of medical professionals I am naturally empathetic, patient, and radiate with positive energy.
In my spare time I enjoy working out, spending time with family and friends, cooking, dancing, and reading books on subjects to help further enhance my life and career. I have worked with Impulse San Diego and continue to volunteer at the LGBT Community Center to help educate and provide resources to the LGBT community, at-risk youths and homeless population. I have an interest in the arts, fashion, architecture, and urban design/development.
