olly Halsey L. Ac., Dipl.Ac. Practicing since 1989, Holly was inspired to pursue her career as an Acupuncturist and Body Therapist as a result of her own amazing results as a patient. After spending 4 years in Therapeutic Massage she began her studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego in 1993 and graduated with honors in 1998. She is licensed nationally (NCCAOM/Dipl. Ac.) and in the State of California (L. Ac.) since 1999. Though she treats a vast array of patient complaints; from women’s health to stress management and beyond, treatment of chronic pain, musculo-skeletal disorders and injury recovery are the core of her experience and her primary focus as a provider. A former faculty member at both Mueller College and Pacific College where she taught Chinese Medical theory and Asian Bodywork. For 20 years she taught and supervised both Acupuncture and Massage students toward the completion of their degrees and taught continuing education classes for professionals. Her massage specialty is Tui Na, the traditional massage protocol of China and often combines that and cupping in a full service session. She is highly skilled in the use of cupping and often combines this technique with an acupuncture visit. Originally from New York, she has been an avid horsewoman since the tender age of 3, and aspires to dressage riding. When she isn’t teaching or treating patients she is usually on her horse, a 17 year old Bay Arab Mare named Cassie.
